Low impedance, high impact The heart of the Jack Casady Signature is the custom-designed JCB-1 low-impedance Humbucker. Unlike standard high-impedance pickups that can lose clarity in a mix, this low-impedance design offers a broader frequency response and a “woody” transparency usually reserved for acoustic instruments. The magic is managed by the 3-position VariGain switch (50, 250, and 500 ohms). At the 50-ohm setting, it delivers a pure, acoustic-like resonance; at 500 ohms, it transforms into a high-output rock beast with a thick, mid-forward growl that rivals a P-bass but with more air and sustain.
Gold on gold in the yellow fields
In the endless yellow of a Danish rapeseed field, the Metallic Gold finish of the Jack Casady Signature becomes a shimmering chameleon. See how its semi-hollow woody resonance breathes in the open air of the Fields of Gold a masterclass in monochrome vibrance and low-impedance clarity.

The perfect fusion of electric edge and acoustic resonance
Crafted in collaboration with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jack Casady, the Epiphone Jack Casady Signature Bass represents the pinnacle of his exhaustive search for the perfect fusion of electric edge and acoustic resonance. This exceptional instrument boasts a unique JCB low-impedance pickup, a brainchild of Casady himself, along with a versatile three-position rotary impedance control, offering a broad spectrum of tonal possibilities.
