Epiphone Jack Casady Signature Bass

Year: 2004
Finish/Color: Metallic Gold
Made in: Korea
Factory/Plant: Peerless

Low impedance, high impact The heart of the Jack Casady Signature is the custom-designed JCB-1 low-impedance Humbucker. Unlike standard high-impedance pickups that can lose clarity in a mix, this low-impedance design offers a broader frequency response and a “woody” transparency usually reserved for acoustic instruments. The magic is managed by the 3-position VariGain switch (50, 250, and 500 ohms). At the 50-ohm setting, it delivers a pure, acoustic-like resonance; at 500 ohms, it transforms into a high-output rock beast with a thick, mid-forward growl that rivals a P-bass but with more air and sustain.
